OPINION
After reaching the semis and
loosing to them last time this is definitely a confidence going into the last
16. I think they are showing signs of improvement but should be having an easy
tie in the last 16 which should suit

Scotland get the second half started and immediately win a
throw-in deep in Argentina territory. Nothing comes of it and the South
American side clear.

effort, which is just too high for the keeper. It hits the cross-bar and
bounces down, just over the line.

awards a penalty to Argentina after repeated viewings of Sophie Howard’s foul
on Cometti. Scotland will argue she got a touch on the ball, but it was a very
rash challenge from the substitute.
Argentina’s penalty ... is saved by Alexander, who gets up
to block the rebound too! Scotland’s lead is intact!

retaken! Apparently Alexander strayed off her line before making the save
Bonsegundo converts the retaken penalty to make it Scotland
3-3 Argentina! The Scots were three goals up and now they need to produce
something even more freakish that what we’ve already seen to snatch a winner.

OPINION
Rage for the defensive performance
of Scotland as all the goals were preventable able simple changes could have
changed where Scotland stood with this draw I could almost say for certain that
both teams are out and I am not sure that was on the South American radar but I
don’t think this is over by a long way
