OPINION
With the money that Monaco have
I have been very disappointed to see them being dumped out of the Champions
league. This was too easy for the Belgium team and does make you think that
Monaco might have to back to square one which might mean Henry might need
someone with experience behind him.

The game sparked into
life when Saul opened the scoring via the leg of Manuel Akanji after a clever
one-two with Filipe Luis.
But it was Atletico who made sure, capping a textbook
Simeone performance when Griezmann polished off a late counter attack

OPINION
Both of these sides now know
that a win will secure themselves the right to qualify for the last 16 and both
should find it easy enough to do so. These are both serious contenders for the
trophy itself.

INTER MALLAN 1-1

RASHER REBERTO
Coutinho spins his marker in midfield before spraying
the ball out to Malcom on the right. He leads the charge on the counter before
creating space for a shot with a wonderful body feint and sliding an effort
just underneath Handanovic and into the far corner with his left foot.
It's scruffy, but the hosts won't care! Barca fail to
clear and the ball bobbles into the feet of Icardi, who holds off Sergi roberto
befroe firing through the legs of Ter Stegen on the turn from six yards.

OPINION
The lucky win point here for
Millan makes this group look very interesting but you would think the quality
that Barca have that they would have been able to put Inter to bed at 1-0 but
It showed that they had the quality to do some real damage.
TOTNAM HOTSPUR 2-1 PSV
ENDHOVEN
KANE KILLS
He leapt high near the penalty spot to power home a header
beyond Gazzaniga. De Jong was totally unchallenged, after wriggling away from
Dele Alli.
Llorente does brilliantly, teeing up Kane, who hammers home
hard and low. A superb finish by the skipper.
It was a slick move by Spurs, with Alli sliding in
Davies, who crossed for Kane to head towards goal.

OPINION
This should seal a spot in the
Europa League for Spurs as we are able to see what it is that the can do when
needed but they still have got a lot to learn going into the next 2 matches and
how many points they will need to reach the last 16.
GROUP C
RED STAR BELGRADE 2-0
LIVERPOOL
PERFECT PAVKOV
Milan Pavkov takes advantage of more atrocious defending to
fire a shot into the top left-hand corner from 25 yards and bag his second.
Jurgen Klopp won’t like that. Red Star won a corner after
Alisson was forced to make a decent save from a low Ben Nabouhane drive. Marko
Marin sent the ball arcing into the Liverpool penalty area, where
Milan Pavkov rose unmarked to score with a bullet header from close range

OPINION
This has been a disaster result
for Liverpool and one that I don’t think that anyone saw coming. They are going
to have to try to understand what is going wrong before playing Fulham on Sunday.
I think that Red Star played the perfect system that did not fail in any way
and Liverpool might have to go back to square one to see what went wrong as
they conceded against Arsenal also. Is their defence going as well as people
say I’m not sure maybe the international break can help?

OPINION
I think that this game was a
battle that no one deserved to loose and both teams could have won at any stage
both teams had got chances to win but it does leave this group extremely tight
and that anything probably still will happen.

OPINION
Porto look like one to watch out
for moving forward bout this as a tie was a little bit too easy as I think that
Moscow do have problems defensively and this is where they need to learn that
lesson. Is this the end for Moscow? I think it might be a step back for a step
forward

OPINION
The early goal killed of this
game as I saw it as the Turks did know what to do from that point on. I think
that they whole game might have been based on that little moment and that they
were unlucky in conceding so early
