OPINION
This looks to me as if Chelsea
have got a real chance at the Europa League. I can see that they have got the
ability to win certain matches as certain times and that this team could be
developing fast as they seem to be already in the last 32. As for Bate they are
in a lot of trouble.

OPINION
This is a very tight group below
Chelsea and in my opinion anything can and probably will happen for that second
spot but Vidi should be very happy with how solid their performances are

CELTIC 2- 1 LEIPZIG
AMBIVALENT EDUARD
It comes from a superb piece of work by Forrest, taking a
short free-kick before weaving inside his man and into the right corner of the
box. His drilled centre goes behind Edouard but runs to the advancing Tierney,
who takes it under his spell and lashes it across Mvogo, who gets a touch.
Laimer sends a delicious cross over from the right, it goes
over Boyata and Lustig is nowhere, leaving Augustin to place a neat header
across a rooted Gordon.
Within 14 seconds of kick-off Edouard has tapped the ball in
from five yards after a surging Christie, fed by Sinclair, lays the ball across
from the left side.

OPINION
Celtic have given themselves a
chance now to reach the last 32 but that is all it is as it depends on Leipzigs
failure to get the same amount of points but I do think that Celtic have got
the ability to do something I this. I still have hope for the Scots but that
might be all it is

OPINION
This is a game built around 1
player and the ability that he had to score his hat trick and I think that was
what made the difference. Red Bull now are through to the last 32 and might
play with a certain vava boom and I think that Rosenberg could nick a point
somewhere.

Mathieu almost gifted Arsenal the lead as he diverted Matteo
Guendouzi's low cross towards his own goal before the ball was swept away. But it was Welbeck's injury just before
the half hour mark

OPINION
This was an important point for the
Gunners but I don’t know whether it is a good thing or a bad thing that this
match happened for them as the injury could put Wellbeck out for a while.

OPINION
This should be the match that
defines who gets a shot at the last 32 but I do think that neither really stand
any chance as Lisbon will get the win needed to put them into the last 32. This
could have been the biggest match of both teams’ lives
GROUP G
SPARACK MOSCOW 4-3
RANGERS
HAPPY HANNI
A corner is floated in and Roman Eremenko, under pressure
from Coulibaly, puts the ball into his own net with Maksimenko making a
desperate lunge for the ball
Spartak are back in this! Middleton was bamboozled on the
left by Popov, and the frontman's cross was thundered into the roof of the net
by Melgarejo.
Flanagan sends the ball forwards, Candeias evades the
offside trap and with a wee pirouette, drills the ball past Maksimenko
Popov with a wonderful ball to Rasskazov; the right back's
low cross strikes the on-rushing Connor Goldson, and the ball arcs past
McGregor.
Morelos takes a bad touch and the right back steps in but
only succeeds in blootering the ball backwards, with Middleton haring into at
the back post to steer the ball beyond Maksimenko.
Rangers are at sixes and sevens at the back, Eremenko's
cross to the near post is met by Hanni, whose cheeky backheel is well saved by
McGregor but Luiz Adriano buries the rebound with a neat header from eight
yards
Hanni drives forward, and hits an effort from distance, it
takes a deflection off Goldson on its way towards goal and McGregor is rooted
to the spot
MY
OPINION
This was a big loss for Rangers
as it is a game that they must have felt they had the right to control or to
win but this will annoy Gerard and should be the destruction of Rangers in
their group. I do think this match will have defined the whole thing and little
can be done to change this.

OPINION
Villareal look to be one of the
teams that should have a shot at this whole competition but are going that
little bit backwards and now know they will need to find a win from somewhere
to get out of their group
