GROUP SEMI-FINALS


Mark Selby showed that he had the form to win a close first round match against Liang Wengbo in the first match
Luca Brecel was able to win the second match of the day by 4 frames to 0 and show the damage that he can do going forward

In the final Brecel probably got the biggest win of his career so far after beating Mark Selby 6-4 and showing the damage that he can do from when he was a young player.

CONFEDERATIONS CUP GERMANY 4-1 MEXICO GREAT GORETZKA Leon Goretzka scored twice in the opening eight minutes as Germany beat Mexico 4-1 in Sochi to join Chile in the Confederations Cup final. The Schalke midfielder swept home a Benjamin Henrichs pass from 20 yards and then slotted home from Timo Werner's through ball. Werner then tapped home Jonas Hector's pass to increase Germany's lead.
