UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE
MAN UTD 5-0 CLUB BRUGE agg 6-1
FABULUS FRED
Well, this is pretty tough for Fernandes. The referee is going over to look at the monitor to review the red card. Fernandes has already been standing over the ball for minutes. Fernandes calmly sent the Mignolet the other way with a stuttering run and rolled his penalty into the net.
Excellent play from Fernandes who threw in about three dummies before launching a beautiful lofted ball to Mata on the right side by the post. Mata cut back to Ighalo who was in the perfect position to slot the ball into the net.
Kossounou was nabbed on the ball by Fernandes, who immediately found Fred with a pass. A great dribble from Fred, who picked out McTominay just outside the box.
Good work from Luke Shaw, who pressed Mitrovic, picked up the ball and found Lingard. Lingard carried the ball forward and cut back for Fred, who had an easy finish.
A lovely pull back from Chong, with Fred burying a brilliant left footed strike into the near post from outside of the box. Solkjaer simply applauded.
MY OPINION
This was all dependant on the penalty at the start of United’s match yesterday and whether or not it should have been given. I think that United had the power to overpower them when they got control but for them this may be their only way into the Champions league. Club burger are top of the Belgiun league so Europa league should be no problem next season.
CELTIC 1-3 COPENHAGEN agg 2-4
BEIL BLASTS
A desperate mistake from Jozo Simunovic allows the substitute Michael Santos to give Copenhagen the lead
It was given by VAR, after a slightly weird handball by Ragnar Sigurdsson. Odsonne[B1]  Edouard brings the house down with the laziest of Panenkas!
The overlapping Pep Biel coolly nutmegs Fraser Forster to put Copenhagen ahead - and now Celtic need two more.
Dame N’Doye stumbles straight through the defence and finishes calmly past Forster.
ARSENAL 1-2 OLYMPICOS agg 2-2 Olympakos win on away goals
MY OPINION
This was harsh on Celtic as they were able to get control of the match back but they couldn’t keep control of and w3ere sucker punched in the last couple of minutes with a couple of goals. I think Celtic have to focus on the SPL and what they are doing for th8is season
ARSENAL 1-2 OLYMPICOS
EL ARABBI ELATED
The unmarked Papa Abou Cisse scores a simple header from a corner to bring Olympiacos level on aggregate at the Emirates.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang puts Arsenal ahead on aggregate with a spectcular scissor-kick! Ozil’s cross was headed up in the air, and Aubameyang got into a position for an elegant and emphatic scissor kick that flew past Jose Sa
The goal came from a needlessly conceded corner, for which the Olympiacos keeper Jose Sa came forward. It was half cleared and tossed back into the area, where El Arabi got the wrong side of Sokratis to poke the ball past Leno. It was a superb ball in from the right by Masouras and a good finish
MY OPINION
To loose a match like this in the last minute on away goals in extra time I think is unfair and needs to be looked at by UEFA if it was 120 at home and then away I would agree with it but in this situation I think it must be looked at Arsenal are not doing that well and qualifying for Europe might not happen
ESPANYOL 3-2 WOLVES agg 3-6
CALLERI HAT TRICK NOT ENOUGH
Now then, how's your bottle, Wolves? Adria Pedrosa gets into space down the left before his low cross is diverted home by Jonathan Calleri. It's been a good start for the hosts and if they get the next goal then things will get really interesting.
Now that is what Wolves needed! They've not looked comfortable but they have still tried to attack and they get reward for that as Adama Traore collects a pass inside the box before he steers home a finish across goal into the bottom corner.
Espanyol win a penalty though, and it's a soft one to give away as Max Kilman is booked for raising a high foot inside the box. Not for me, not yet anyway as Jonathan Calleri sends Rui Patricio the wrong way from the penalty spot for his second goal of the game.
Just in case any of you Wolves fans were still slightly worried - this should settle it for you. Podence collects the ball from a throw in on the left before his low cross at the back post is slotted home by Matt Doherty
Espanyol will win this game on the night as Jonathan Calleri heads home a byline cross to grab his hat-trick.
MY OPINION
It is incredible that Wolves got this far in this competition this season considering how little they have to spend and for me it is between him and Klopp for the honour of manager of the year but Klopp has to get at least another trophy. Espanol are having a disaster of a season and this was the only thing they were playing for.
