FA CUP LAST 16 DRAW

1 Bristol City v Shrewsbury Town or Wolverhampton Wanderers

If wolves manage to get things right here they should be able to reach the quarters but I would not be shocked if Bristol City reached the quarter as they are at home

2 AFC Wimbledon v Millwall

Home advantage he could be a decisive factor but Millwall should have more class

3 Doncaster Rovers v Crystal Palace

If Palace don’t win this I would consider it a major upset and even though it is away it should be easy. I could see this game going to a replay.

4 Middlesbrough or Newport County v Manchester City

If Newport win it they have no hope but Boro could make this match a bit of a contest and take it to a replay but if City play a smart game they could destroy both sides.

5 Chelsea v Manchester United

This is the tie of the round by far and both teams chasing Champions League football so are on the same level and both teams have the players that can change a game. I think this game could depend on how many points United get before this match thy need a minimum of 6 points from the 3 games including Champions league for me to think them as the favourites as what happened yesterday can Ole fix it fast

6 Swansea City v Barnet or Brentford

I want Barnet to win this and get to the quarters like last season with Lincoln a few seasons ago in the cup them reaching the quarters and I think Swansea would have to be seen as a favourite against Brentford think they would be able to outclass them but playing a non-league opponent can be a difficult proposition and it could go to a replay

7 Portsmouth or Queens Park Rangers v Watford

Watford should have too much for whoever they play in the last 16 as they are the best side outside the top 6 and a cup run might be their ambition. Form could be a factor for Portsmouth to stand any chance but would need a minimum of 7 points from their next 2 league games as for QPR I think they need 8 Championship points to stand a chance as they would be going up a major level. I can’t see anything but a Watford win

8 Brighton & Hove Albion or West Bromwich Albion v Derby County

The game between Brighton and WBA could be a very difficult one to predict but home advantage extra time makes a lot of sense to me. I find this one very hard to call as well as Derby are doing so well in the Championship and might be a game that depends more on form than anything and could be the most difficult to predict
