Afternoon Session
Ryan Joyce 4-3 Alan Norris (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Another shock in this year’s
world championship as most people would have picked Norrris as a nice little outside
bet. I feel that maybe there was that sense of him crumbling in the final set. Joyce
might even dare to dream
Dave Chisnall 4-0 Kim Huybrechts (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Dave Chisnall has shown why he
the inform player at the moment and one maybe even that can win the whole thing
but his next task is a tricky one where he will play the best player in the
world. Huybrechts is definitely a better player than this.
Jamie Lewis 4-3 Daryl Gurney (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
This was a huge disaopintment as
Gurney had a match dart and hit the wrong double but he was 2-0 and 3-1 down in
this game and to get back to level inn sets in my view this is an incredible achievement
Evening Session
Ryan Searle 4-1 William O'Connor (Third Round)
Evening Session
Ryan Searle 4-1 William O'Connor (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
This was a disappointing result for
O Connor not so much that he lost but the fact that he did not make a game of
it and I do think you learn more from your losses than from your wins and O Connor
would have learned a lot
Gary Anderson 4-3 Jermaine Wattimena (Third Round)
Gary Anderson 4-3 Jermaine Wattimena (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
This was a scare to say the
least and I think that Anderson was not the better player in this Game he just
had more of an ability to kill a game off. Wattamena definitely can come back from
this and improve for next season
Michael van Gerwen 4-1 Max Hopp (Third Round)
Michael van Gerwen 4-1 Max Hopp (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Best player in the world not
much more tom say

Afternoon Session
Vincent Van der Voort 3-4 Chris Dobey (Third Round)
Afternoon Session
Vincent Van der Voort 3-4 Chris Dobey (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Another surprise in this championship
of them as the Dutchman who was expected to control but it turned out the other
way and the Englishman pulled off a massive win
Brendan Dolan 4-2 Mervyn King (Third Round)
Brendan Dolan 4-2 Mervyn King (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Irish interest still is
happening in this competition and he is not the one you would have thought of
but he is my mate and I hope he goes far in the competition and there was a lot
of breaks in the match which changed it for the better
James Wade 4-3 Jelle Klaasen (Third Round)
James Wade 4-3 Jelle Klaasen (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
James Wade showed his here in
this match and why he should be considered a contender for the championship as
all the seeds are starting to fall. You do have the feeling for someone like
Wade but this was the right sort of battle for them
Evening Session
Adrian Lewis 4-0 Darius Labanauskas (Third Round)
Evening Session
Adrian Lewis 4-0 Darius Labanauskas (Third Round)
MY OPINION
This is again another result
that says to me a potential a champion as he has shown here that he has got the
form here to make the difference. The Lithuania did not put up any sort of a threat
and we got to see Lewis quality
Nathan Aspinall 4-1 Kyle Anderson (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Kyle Anderson another of the
quality players to fall in this championship but this is showing the quality
that this year is begging to happen. Aspinall is showing here that he may have
the potential to go far in the tournament.
Rob Cross 4-0 Cristo Reyes (Third Round)
Rob Cross 4-0 Cristo Reyes (Third Round)
MY
OPINION
Rob Cross is showing here why he
has got the potential to be the World Championship and be able to see what he
can do. Reyes has been a disappointment in this match and we know that he can
play a lot better
