Rory Peaks At Right Time

Image
Rory Mc llroy is a professional golfer from Hollywood County Down, born 4th May 1989. Rory has had help from his father Gerry on his journey. He has had some strong performances as both a professional and as an amateur but the only pro tournament that he has not won is the masters, which takes place from 5th to 8th April. He has shown form coming into the tournament this year but he still would have the wish of having a career grand slam.   Mc Ilroy has represented both GB and Ireland in the Walker Cup. and Europe in the Ryder Cup. He is of average height and a good weight. He has been both number 1 as an amateur and a professional. Mc Ilroy is the youngest player to have earned a tour card. Rory is a big supporter of Mencap and the Rory Foundation. He gave £250,000 to help build the Mencap Children's Center n Belfast.    His world ranking of number 39 in 2008 qualified him for the 2009 Masters Tournament. He was runner-up at USB Hong Kong Open and tied for...

19-3-18 6 nations

RUGBY UNION 6 NATIONS ITALY 27-29 SCOTLAND ALLEN DOUBLE KEPS SCOTLAND BACK ON TRACK   Fraser Brown, John Barclay, Sean Maitland and Stuart Hogg scored for the Scots, who earned a try bonus point. Tommaso Allan had booted Italy ahead in a dramatic final 10 minutes, before Laidlaw's decisive strike. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/43401220 MY OPINION I don’t think anyone would have saw a result like this coming after Scotland had done so well this year and looked like they were ready for anyone but you do have hope in this 6 nations that Scotland are moving forward. WALES 14-13 FRANCE WILLIAMS HELPSW WALES GET BIG WIN A Liam Williams try and three Leigh Halfpenny penalties gave Wales a 14-10 interval advantage. Gael Fickou scored France's try and the visitors enjoyed second-half possession and territory dominance. Wales' dogged defence held firm for victory with only three points scored in the second-half. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-u...

19-3-18 fa cup

FA CUP SWANSEA 0-3 SPURS ERICSON DETROYS SWANSEA You could see this going in from way back, because Swansea allowed it to happen. Lamela, out on the right, flicks a pass inside for Eriksen. The Danish international is allowed to run, and run, and run, and run. He bides his time, and lines up a glorious power curler into the top left from 20 yards. That’s so sweet! But Nordfeldt had no chance, because none of his defenders bothered closing Eriksen down. Lamela dribbles hard down the inside-left channel. He drifts infield a bit, uninhibited by any sort of meaningful challenge from a white shirt. Swansea backing off again, like they did with Eriksen. And the result is the same. Lamela lines up his shot, and curls low and hard into the bottom right. It’s no more than Tottenham deserve for their first-half dominance. This is over. Dier and Moura nearly open Swansea up with some crisp one-twoing down the left. Dier pulls the ball back for Moura, who can’t quite get a shot away f...

16-3-18 Europa league draw

Image
The Europa League draw is to be an interesting one Debutants Leipzig who are known for being associated with an energy drink from Germany play Marcelle from France this could be a tight one Arsenal play CSKA and will have to go as far away as they possibly can. There does look like a miracle result here for Wrenger again Atletico play Sporting and considering how they are playing Atletico look to be unbeatable Lazio play Red Bull and I can see a win here for Lazio

16-3-18 champions league draw

Image
The Champions League has had some interesting ties The first one is the all English tie between Liverpool and Man City both teams will have hope of reaching the semi-finals but you have to worry about how well City have done this season could this one draw create a rivalry Next is Juventus v Real Madrid and we all know what Real can do on a given day but this has not been their season this could be interesting I would be very surprised if Barcelona were too loose to Roma as they seem leagues ahead Bayern should get past Seville but I don’t think anyone saw them beat Man United

15-3-18 champions league

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BARSALONA 3-0 CHELSEA MAGIC MESSI The visitors fell behind after just 128 seconds as Lionel Messi shot through the legs of Thibaut Courtois from a tight angle. Messi then set up Ousmane Dembele to hammer home the second after Cesc Fabregas lost possession. Marcos Alonso hit the post for Chelsea with a free-kick before Messi's 100th Champions League goal - after a mistake by Cesar Azpilicueta - took the hosts out of sight. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43378543 MY OPINION Barcelona are one of the most dangerous teams in the Champions League at this point and after a performance like that they should be feared. We now that Chelsea can put in better performances than this but this kind of answers the question why they are fifth in the league. BESIKTAS 1-3 BAYERN WAGNER KILLS OF ALL HOPE   Thiago broke the deadlock with a simple tap-in from Muller's perfectly weighted cross, quelling Besiktas' early energy with his se...

14-3-18 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Image
UEFA CHAMPIIONS LEAGUE MAN U 1-2 SEVILLA BEN YEDER BRILLIANT Substitute Wissam Ben Yedder was the match-winner for the Spanish side, shooting from inside the area just two minutes after coming on and heading in at the back post from a corner. After posing little threat in the goalless first leg, United again looked second best against the La Liga side, though Marouane Fellaini's thumping effort did draw Sergio Rico into a save and the away goalkeeper kept out Jesse Lingard's low strike. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43376849 MY OPINION As United had done to others on many occasions this match was settled by a couple of minutes of magic but it will probably just settle them down for the FA Cup and finishing second in the league. I wonder whether or not United should have tried to play a second string against Liverpool knowing the matches coming up and if they get beat in the cup well I don’t know what the fans will think . Sevilla might be the dream dr...
