FA CUP LAST 16
WIGAN 1-0 MAN CITY
WILL GRIGG ON FIRE
Wigan Athletic ended Manchester City's hopes of a clean
sweep of trophies with a stunning upset in their FA Cup fifth-round tie.
The League One side survived virtually constant pressure
from the Premier League leaders, eventually capitalising on Fabian Delph's
controversial first-half red card when Will Grigg struck 11 minutes from time.
MY
OPINION
This is the shock of the round
by a long way as Man City looked to be unstoppable at any case. Wigan were
solid at the back and limited City’s chances. Wigan would be the only team
outside the Premiership I could see winning the cup.
QUARTER
FINAL DRAW
Man u v Brighton
Leicester v Chelsea
Wigan v Southampton
Swansea or shef wed v Rochdale
or spurs
Tie of the round for me is Leicester
v Chelsea but the potential upset is Wigan to beat Southampton
