30-1-18 FA CUP DRAW AND PREDICTIONS
THE FA CUP LAST 16
DRAW
SHEFFIELD WED V NOTS CO OR
SWANSEA
This could be an interesting tie as you could not be certain
who will win it. It does look like an easy run for Premiership Swansea but
Championship side Sheffield Wednesday could make things a battle.
I say Shef Wed
WBA V SOUTHAMPTON
One of the ties of the round as both of these sides now can
see themselves winning the FA cup without any stress. WBA will look at the
Liverpool result and think they can win.#
Southampton for me here
LEICESTER V SHEFFIELD UNITED
Leicester should see this as a chance to win the cup but
United will not make things easy for them. There will be a moment of magic that
win this tie but I don’t think United have enough here to win the match.
This one to me belongs to Leicester
CHELSEA V HULL
Chelsea have got the quality to win this type of match quite
easily if they get an early goal. However if it takes them too long to score
their first goal there could be a replay here.
Chelsea winning quite comfortably
HUDDERSFIELD OR
BIRMINGHAM V MANCHESTER UNITED
I don’t think that it matters who united play in this match.
I would have said a similar thing about Liverpool I the last round so it still
depends on whether or not United have got the form. I think both teams c9ould
make it a battle
No one will touch United for this cup
MILLWALL OR ROCHDALE
V NEWPORT OR SPURS
Spurs had a bit of a disaster in the first tie but should be
able to make up for it this in the replay.
They can show their class in this battle of the 4 but I think that it
will be Milwall that they will play as they will have too much for Rochdale.
Spurs should be in the quarter final
BRIGHTON V COVENTRY
Coventry have shown that they are ready for any challenge and
taking them back with a replay should be considered a success. Brighton should
have too much for them and this should be easy for them but the longer it takes
for them to score the first goal the more frustrating they will be.
Brighton to win with an early goal
WIGAN V MAN CITY
To me this is the tie of the round between two teams with
nothing to play for in their own leagues as they are Champions and no one can
touch them. City do have the players that can change things in an instant
I see this as a win for Wigan
